Which areas do you cover?
I live in London, and cover Essex, Hertfordshire, and London. Further locations can be discussed upon request. I can also travel across the UK but location will be discussed during time of booking.

Do you come to my home or venue on the day?
Most brides request that I come to their home for the trial, and the venue on the day of the wedding. I will work around what is best for you.
* In some cases travel charges may apply if the distance travelled is outside a 20 mile radius.*

How soon before the wedding should I book a trial?
Due to volume of enquiries, it is wise to have a trial as soon as possible; most trials are booked approximately 3 months before the wedding date but I will try to accommodate you as much as possible.

How do I book my wedding with you?
On the day of your trial, if you decide to book me for your wedding day, I will require a £30 deposit to secure your wedding date in my diary. The deposit will be deducted from the final balance. Popular dates (i.e. June - August) may need to be secured in advance of your trial. I am unable to hold dates without a deposit.

How do I pay you?
I accept cash and cheques; I am unable to accept credit cards. The deposit must be paid to reserve me for your wedding day. If you wish to pay the remaining balance by cheque, this must be done 3 weeks before your wedding date so payment clears; otherwise you must pay cash on the day.

Which cosmetic brands do you use?
I use a selection of make-up including Benefit, Bobbi Brown, Chanel, Christian Dior, Clinique, Elizabeth Arden, Estee Lauder, La Prairie, Lancôme, Laura Mercier, M.A.C, Nars, Shiseido and YSL. If you have sensitive skin or have experienced problems with any of the cosmetics listed, please let me know as soon as possible.

Do you offer any other services to makeup for weddings?
Yes, I am also trained in hairdressing and styling. If you require my services for hair and makeup on the day, I will be able to offer you a discounted rate to my normal charges.

Should my make-up be done after my hair is styled?
Yes, it is better for your make-up to be applied last so it still looks fresh for your pre-wedding shots.

What time will you arrive and how long will it take?
During the trial, we will work out how long it will take me to do your make-up (and the wedding party if it is a group booking). This means I can arrive early enough to ensure I have you all ready at the specified time.

How long will my make-up last?
Your make-up has been applied to last all day and the only thing that may need re-touching is your lipstick. I will provide you with a small sample of the lipstick that you have chosen to wear, and all you will need is a lip-brush to reapply it with.

Can you cover scars/birthmarks/blemishes?
Yes I have a number of cosmetic products from scarring creams to body foundation. Anything you are concerned about tell me and I will work to make sure you are totally happy with the results.

What if I have tanned since seeing you?
No problem; I will use a darker shade of foundation than the one I used on you at the trial to match your tanned complexion.

What if I change my mind on the colours I want before the wedding?
No problem at all, I can change the makeup according to your requirements. If possible we’ll do another run-through before your day, if not, I’ll come earlier on the day.

Can I contact you after the trial before the wedding?
Of Course! I like all my clients to be able to feel they can contact me as much/as little as they want to from the initial contact. I am available on my phone and email so please don’t be afraid to talk to me!!

How many people can you 'do' on the wedding day?
This depends on the number of people having their make-up done. I will be able to discuss this with you at your trial run. In some cases I may need to use an assistant if there are more than 5 people requiring my services.

What if I decide to cancel my booking?
You must notify me of cancellation in writing as soon as possible a cancellation fee may be charged please see the Terms and Conditions page.
